For use with Engineered Lining Systems canal membranes. Parasealant 626 is an one-part urethane sealant with easy flowing material that skins over in a few hours and cures in 48 - 72 hours. Parasealant is excellent in areas subjected to stress and vibrations as well as expansion and contraction. Parasealant 626 is especially effective as a sealant against moisture. Parasealant 626 is both reflective and moisture resistant, which is most important with today's high-tech single-ply materials. Parasealant 626 is formulated for adhesion to all types of building materials including vinyl, acrylic, and polyester or styrene plastic and will not cause crazing. Its high tack ensures a weather tight seal around penetrations. Parasealant 626 is odorless, easy to use and highly impact resistance.
Installation:
-Parasealant 626 may be used to all applications that are exposed to ultraviolet rays.
-Substrates must be clean and dry prior to the application of the Parasealant 626
-Painted metal and masonry surfaces shall be cleaned of all asphalt products and lightly abraded with a wire brush to provide a surface adequate for adhesion. Typical bead should be 3/8 in diameter minimum. A tube should provide 22-25 lineal feet of coverage.
